How We Do It You can have us walk-down all the valves in your plant for a leak survey or have a specific group of valves that you want repacked. Once you determine what valves to repack, Kan-Seal will perform a walk-down to record all the valve & dimensional data. We then enter this information into our SmartSealTM Program and create a Valve Data Sheet for each valve scheduled to be repacked. We utilize a High Pressure Mini Water Jet Packing Extractor for packing removal. By this method of extraction, speed and efficiency is obtained, saving hours of labor. We can substantially repack a greater number of valves during a single outage or downtime. Kan-Seal will have Die-Formed Packing Sets made up for each valve using our Style 5000/6300K Combination Packing Sets. We will utilize Split Carbon Bushings in valves with deep stuffing boxes to ensure maximum packing consolidation with 5 ring sets. |
