We achieve this by performing a comprehensive bin-by-bin survey of all OEM Gaskets, Seals, & Packings. Detailed material and dimensional information is gathered. We enter all the survey information into our database so that duplicates, asbestos or obsolete products and material upgrades can be identified. We then cross-reference your OEM part numbers to our database. Our gasket database has thousands of OEM Gaskets. We can cross-reference several of the OEM gaskets just by using a data dump from your utility and searching our database for your OEM part numbers. We enter our equivalent materials and pricing for each item. We list lead times and offer “Just In Time” delivery to reduce inventory levels. Turbine and Generator Gaskets are a great place to start this survey to show immediate results. Kan-Seal’s staff also has the knowledge to streamline the overall process and correct part descriptions and other applicable information in your plants computer system.
