Style 6300K Die-Formed Flexible Graphite APS 6300K die-formed rings provide the primary seal within the packing set. Rings are to be used in conjunction with 5000 rings as containment to prevent extrusion of the Graphoil. Style 6300K Graphoil rings are made using Union Carbide GTK Ribbon. The material is manufactured with a non-metallic, inorganic, passivating inhibitor for corrosion and oxidation resistance. No Binders or resins are used in this product. Style 5005 / 5010 Split Graphite Spacer Use of excessive packing rings increases friction and causes poor gland load transfer result in less than optimum sealing performance. APS utilizes split graphite bushings to take up excessive packing ring space. In addition, these bushings aid in stem alignment. APS Style 5005/5010 bushings are supplied vertically split and precision machined to specific clearances to fit into each stuffing box. To aid in removal, each bushing is drilled and tapped on one end. APS Style 5005/5010 graphite bushings are manufactured from fine grained, high-purity, electro-graphite with high compressive strength and low coefficient of thermal expansion. |

Style 5000 High Temperature Valve & Pump Packing Style 5000 is manufactured from high-strength, ultra-high purity yarns. Lubrication and braid blockage is provided by high-temperature graphite dispersion and graphite particles locked in place by a proprietary process. An extra-dense core provides dimensional stability throughout 5000's working temperature and pressure range.
